한-아세안 금융협력센터

한-아세안 금융협력포럼이 2025년 4월 11일 싱가포르 콘래드 센테니얼 호텔에서 성공적으로 개최되었습니다.

한-아세안 금융협력센터(AKFCC), 해외금융협력협의회(CIFC), 아세안+3 거시경제조사기구(AMRO)가 공동 주최한 이번 포럼에는 역내 금융 리더, 정책 입안자, 산업 전문가들이 모여 보다 탄력적이고 포용적이며 혁신적인 금융 시스템 구축을 위한 전략을 논의히였습니다.

이장근 대사는 환영사에서 한국과 아세안 간 금융 협력 강화의 중요성을 강조하였습니다.

오늘날 세계 경제의 불확실성과 급변하는 금융 환경을 헤쳐나가기 위해서는 협력 노력이 필수적이라고 하며, 이 대사는 통합 금융 인프라 개발, ESG 표준에 부합하는 지속 가능한 금융 추진, 한국의 핀테크 역량을 통한 디지털 금융 발전 등 협력 강화를 위한 세 가지 핵심 분야를 제안하였습니다. 이러한 협력 이니셔티브를 통해 아세안과 한국은 금융 혁신을 지속적으로 선도하고 보다 개방적이고 탄력적이며 지속 가능한 미래를 형성할 수 있을 것으로 기대합니다.

이영직 한-아세안 금융협력센터장은 2번째 패널 세션에서 "미래를 위한 자본시장: 아세안+3의 인프라와 혁신"을 주제로 발표하였습니다.

또한, 한-아세안 주요 자본시장 동향을 개괄하고 한-아세안 금융협력 강화를 위한 전략적 방향을 제시하였습니다.

이번 포럼을 통해 아세안-한국 협력을 강화하고, 지역 전반에 걸쳐 보다 큰 경제 회복력과 번영을 촉진하는 유의미한 진전을 향해 한 발자국 나아갈 수 있게 되었습니다.

ASEAN-Korea Financial Cooperation Forum 2025

The ASEAN-Korea Financial Cooperation Forum was successfully held on April 11th, 2025, at the Conrad Centennial Hotel in Singapore.

Co-hosted by the ASEAN-Korea Financial Cooperation Centre (AKFCC), the Council on International Financial Cooperation (CIFC), and the ASEAN+3 Macroeconomic Research Office (AMRO), the forum brought together financial leaders, policymakers, and industry experts from across the region to discuss strategies for building more resilient, inclusive, and innovative financial systems.

In his welcome remarks, Ambassador Lee Jang-keun emphasized the importance of strengthening financial cooperation between Korea and ASEAN. He highlighted that collaborative efforts are crucial for navigating today's global economic uncertainties and rapidly evolving financial environment. Ambassador Lee proposed three key areas for enhancing cooperation: developing integrated financial infrastructure, promoting sustainable finance aligned with ESG standards, and advancing digital finance through Korea’s fintech capabilities. Through these collaborative initiatives, ASEAN and Korea can continue to lead in financial innovation and shape a more open, resilient, and sustainable future.

Additionally, Lee Young Jick, Head of the ASEAN-Korea Financial Cooperation Centre, moderated Panel Session 2, “Capital Markets for the Future: Infrastructure and Innovation in ASEAN+3.” In his presentation, he outlined key ASEAN-Korea capital market trends and provided strategic directions for enhancing financial collaboration between ASEAN and Korea.

The forum marked a meaningful step forward in deepening ASEAN-Korea collaboration, fostering greater economic resilience and prosperity across the region.
